Forum Title: Painting wall above baseboard and door jambs.
Hey everyone! So I thought I'd start a fun little topic and get some ideas from everyone. I've noticed since I've started painting there's almost always new techniques you can learn seeing as almost every painting company does things differently. So what do you do for above baseboards and next to door jambs? We tape and caulk the door jamb and baseboard and slop the paint on. Do you cut in next to door jambs? Or even the baseboards? Do you put 2 very light coats on top of uncaulked tape so that it doesn't bleed through? Do you use frog tape? What else?!

It depends on if it's NC or repaint. If repaint we typically hand cut everything but the base, we tape it to protect base from splatters anyway. On NC we tape and spray almost everything.
